Sunday Gatherings
We gather every week to encourage one another and be encouraged by the truth of God’s word and the salvation we have through Jesus. We proclaim God’s truth, submitting ourselves to it, seeking to be transformed. We collectively worship, not as disconnected individuals but as a community, through music, teaching, prayer, and sacraments.
Our focus is on three things that last forever. We want to love God (Deuteronomy 10:17) and love People (Matthew 22:39, Matthew 25:40) according to the Scriptures (Psalm 119:44-45, Psalm 119:89)
What time do you start?
Our service begins at 09h30.
Where do you meet?
We meet at Bergvliet High School on Firgrove Way.
What should I expect?
Services last between 60 and 75 minutes. There is no dress code. You will find an informal crowd and atmosphere. However, we have intentionally structured the music, teaching, prayer, and sacraments to reinforce the gospel and lead us in genuine worship.
We typically teach through books of the Bible and always remain rooted in the gospel. The music varies each week, sometimes led by a full band and other times by a single musician. The songs we sing are a mix of hymns and modern worship songs.
I have children…
We believe that parents are called to be the primary spiritual leaders of their children and so we strive to support them however we can. We begin our worship service together as a Church Family. Just before the bible talk, an announcement is made and children are free to go out to Sunday School – a safe, fun, bible-centred environment for children on Sunday mornings. However, if your child would prefer to stay with you for the remainder of the service they are free to do so.
